Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv (/mod/ /ə˞nv/ [steep] [boss]) is a temperate Town located in the Vyedlupglá Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv is derived from the Gnollish language, as Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv was founded by Vungrisz vyim Rovuldyutsɪxt, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv has a yearly average temperature of 9°C (48°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a cold 5°C (41°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 13°C (55°F). Overview

Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv was founded durring the early 16th century in winter of the year 1512, by Vungrisz vyim Rovuldyutsɪxt. The establishment of Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv's construction back out of the project. Vungrisz vyim Rovuldyutsɪxt pushed on reguardles, and Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv is buildings are speckled and packed arround broad cobblestone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Unfortuantly, these monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The locals seem to have responded to their slow downfall by recreating Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv as one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which the town brings to mind.

They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Mäpt Xeláimu-ánv's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
